Privacy Notice

1. Who is responsible for your data

The party responsible for processing your data is Larga Vida SRL, RNC 1-33-78063-1, which operates Larga Vida Coffee & Wellness, located at Av. Metropolitana #23, Los Jardines, Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.

2. What data we collect

• Job applications (online form): full name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, role of interest, schedule, availability, experience, the message you write and the language of the form.
• Résumés sent by email: the content of your résumé and your email.
• Direct contact: whatever you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or Instagram.
• Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic browser details to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks. We don't use analytics or advertising tools.

Please don't include sensitive data (for example about health, religion, or political or union membership) in your message or résumé: we don't need it to review your application.

3. What we use your data for

• To review your job application and contact you about it.
• To answer your questions.
• To keep the website working and secure.

We don't sell or rent your data, and we won't send you marketing without your permission.

4. Your consent

We process your data with your free, express and informed consent. On the job application form you give it by ticking the consent box; when you email us your résumé, by sending it. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to privacy@largavida.coffee. Withdrawing it doesn't affect processing done before.

5. Who we share your data with

We only share your data with the providers that help us operate, who process it on our behalf and under our instructions:

• Formspree (United States): receives job application form submissions and emails them to us.
• Google (United States): our email (Google Workspace). The Google Maps map on the home page also receives your IP address, browser details and the page you're on when it loads, and may use its own cookies.
• Cloudflare (United States and global network): hosts the website and protects it from attacks.

We don't share your data with anyone else, except when required by law or by a competent authority.

6. Transfers outside the Dominican Republic

The providers above store and process data outside the country, mainly in the United States. By giving your consent you authorize that transfer, under Article 80 of Law 172-13. We choose providers that apply recognized security measures.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep job applications and résumés for 12 months after the hiring process closes, in case another opening comes up, and then delete them. If you're hired, your data becomes part of your employee file. Other messages are kept only as long as needed to help you.

8. How we protect your data

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to applications is limited to the staff who need it, and our accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-step verification. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorized access.

9. Your rights

Under Law 172-13 you can, at any time and free of charge:

• Access: find out what data we hold about you and how we use it.
• Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Cancellation or erasure: ask us to delete your data.
• Objection: object to our using your data for a particular purpose.

To exercise them, write to privacy@largavida.coffee with your name and what you're asking for. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We'll respond within the deadlines set by Law 172-13. If we don't respond or you're not satisfied, you can go to the courts through the habeas data action provided for in Article 70 of the Constitution and in Law 172-13.

10. Minors

This site is not directed at children. To apply for a job you must be at least 18 years old. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under that age; if you believe a minor has sent us their data, write to us and we'll delete it.

11. Cookies

This site doesn't use its own analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from automated attacks. The Google Maps map may use its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Links to Instagram and Google Maps take you to third-party sites with their own policies.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. We'll post any change on this page with its new date. This notice is governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic.
